Mike Jackson

A product of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Mike has been leading and teaching leadership for much of his working life, retiring from active service as a Major, he has travelled extensively and has accumulated some unique experiences during his life.

With an obvious passion for empowering people to experiment with new opportunities and his techniques for developing client’s self-efficacy, knowledge and skills he has enabled many clients to progress towards and achieve their objectives.

Starting as a COBOL programmer back in the early days of computing, Mike quickly rose to running three companies in the UK, but had to walk away during the dot com downturn. Since then he has mainstreamed as a Project / Change Manager but is happy to take walks on the wild side of Testing, Quality management and Process re-engineering. His Army training ingrained the need for built in redundancy and as a result, he has a reputation for developing robust systems with practical well tested failover options and is a respected Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery specialist.

More recently, Mike has rendered his experience available as a facilitator and a certified leadership coach, where his current focus is on executive leadership and project management coaching enabling Executives and Project Managers to implement successful meaningful change programmes. As an external resource, Mike is able to ask challenging questions and review legacy business processes whilst staying above most of the usual office politics that often obstruct and interfere with change initiatives.
